Twitter can be confusing at first, but once you start to follow and have a few followers it becomes more fun as you have conversations with people. Some people only broadcast themselves, but I find it is much more useful as a conversational tool. It is also great for sharing links and things you find interesting on the web.

As for Tweetbucks, they are not a part of Twitter, just built on top of Twitter. Twitter makes no money from them at all, unless Tweetbucks starts to advertise on Twitter then Twitter might make a few dollars. Twitter is still trying to figure out how to make money. Tweetbucks thinks they have a way. It is a long story.

This is a really awesome and useful service for anyone who finds them self shortening a lot of URLs and needs to have quality statistics and reports. The fact that there is a 5.00 sign on bonus and that there is a wide range of merchant affiliates integrated into the service is convenient also.
I am looking forward to how this service develops in the future and I believe that it is off to a great start. I think that once an API for this service is released that we will really see it's true potential for developers, marketers, merchants, and end-users.
So far I have really been enjoying this service.

I recently joined twitter, still a bit dazed about how to use it...but everyone is talking about tweeting...so I thought I would give it shot.

I was wondering if tweetbucks was a branch of twitter and if it isn't how does twitter benefit from all of the sales that are made through postings on their site...?

I heard of Tweetbucks before but didn't know how it worked until I read this post. Now that I know, I think it could be good for certain users but I would personally stay away from it. I have a lot of marketers as followers and even though they sell to other people, they always get all worked up when they are being sold to. They can also spot an affiliate link a mile away.

I'll stick to linking to my own site for now.

Cassie’s last blog post..Make Money By Giving Away Special Reports
