		<description>This blog was a dofollow blog until recently as well. Got tired of people and coming leaving one comments and never coming back. I don&#039;t mind giving people some linklove on the comments but it was getting ridiculous. I switched to a different dofollow plugin so only people who comment frequently get a link. It has cut down considerably on the spammy comments.</description>

I run a dofollow blog and I often find myself contemplating turning it off to deter the one liners. Thankfully I&#039;m starting to see more and more quality blog readers getting involved in my posts so for now I&#039;m sticking with it. Askimet could use a filtering upgrade in response to the usual comments like I mentioned above.</description>
