It works great for product blogs. It also makes it easy to just add those Amazon links on a personal blog as well. Talking about the latest book you are reading, boom give them a link to buy it. It has been around for a while from what I can tell, but I guess not very many of the a-listers talk about it so it has not made the big headlines. I don't make a lot of money personally from the Amazon program but I make enough to buy the books, movies and music I want so I can't complain.
