Map Maker

I like Google Maps. They add an additional feature to websites that used to be very difficult to create on your own. I have integrated Google Maps into various websites for clients to do many different things from giving directions to or from a location to combining Google Maps with data from a database, but sometimes you just want or need to add a map to a website quickly with as little work as possible. This is where Map Maker comes in handy. You can quickly create a map with custom markers and then publish it to your website using either Javascript or an Iframe. You don’t need to worry about getting a Google Maps API key or struggle with any Javascript to create your map. You need to create an account, but after that is done you just create your markers, save your map, and place your map on your site. It could not be easier.

Here is an example map of my home town, Rosthern.
