Has Digg Jumped the Shark?

I was stumbling along today and kept running across Digg stories. The first was about the “Digg mafia” spamming the Yahoo suggestion board. The second article was similar, talking about the “Digg mafia” and why it will cost Keven Rose millions. That article had an interesting graph of Digg traffic and how it has declined recently. Third, I discovered that some sites that had been banned on Digg had their ban lifted since Digg upgraded their spam filter. One of those sites was John Chow’s, johnchow.com who writes that even though the ban has been lifted his articles are being buried.
While I don’t regularly visit Digg, probably the only internet geek that doesn’t, I can’t help but wonder has Digg jumped the shark?
